STEEL PLUS 2008 is an integrated order entry, inventory control, and accounting system designed exclusively for metal service centers.  STEEL PLUS is now used by nearly 300 metal service centers and distributors throughout North America. 

STEEL PLUS Imaging
A powerful software program allowing you to scan, store, and easily retrieve and deliver mill test reports (MTRs) and other critical documents.  Some of the powerful features available include batch scanning, annotating, automatic delivery via email and fax, multiple document delivery, and many more.

 

STEEL PLUS Fax
STEEL PLUS Fax allows users to electronically fax all types of documents without ever leaving your desk!  If you can print it, we can fax it. 

 

STEEL PLUS Email and Report Viewer
Bayern Software has brought Windows Report Viewing and Outlook e-mail functionality to STEEL PLUS/Classic and STEEL PLUS 2008.  You'll have the power to view quotes, orders, invoices, statements, and more all right from your computer screen.  In addition, you will be able to email any document that you can print!  Imagine the convenience of instantly emailing quotes to your customers while still on the phone with them!

STEEL PLUS Bar Coding
STEEL PLUS has integrated Bar Code capabilities for inventory control.  Whether printing bar code labels or scanning tags for physical inventory counts, these built in systems are already included with STEEL PLUS/Classic and STEEL PLUS 2008.  The Bayern Company is currently in production of a separate module for STEEL PLUS 2008 that will allow users to receive, process, and ship inventory all in a wireless Pocket PC environment.  Please click here if you would like to receive more information about this.

STEEL PLUS Labor Tracking
The new STEEL PLUS Labor Tracking program is designed to improve cost and profitability tracking.  The program allows warehouse employees to log in and track the time they spend working on a job.  The ability to track machine time is also available.  Loaded labor rates are entered and intended to include actual employee wages, as well as other costs for that employee such as benefits, insurance, etc.  You also have the ability to log time for an unlimited number of machines (i.e. shear, saw, plasma, etc.) and work types (i.e. welding, punching, drilling, etc.). 

STEEL PLUS Inventory Dashboard
The new STEEL PLUS Inventory Dashboard is designed for companies with multiple warehouse locations who need quick and easy access to important inventory information such as available stock levels and incoming inventory amounts.  Users also have the ability to drill down to see a breakdown of inventory by size or by a value pre-defined by your company in a user-defined field.  The user-defined field may be used to track “foreign” vs. “domestic” material, “on-hand” vs. “in-transit” inventory, or any other value you choose.  Users can even view tag-level details such as heat numbers, mill reference numbers, and more.
